It was amazing to have rides, transport, guesthouses, etc. all booked without having to do the work. My friends and I unfortunately came down with a stomach bug during the trip, but the team at Zbulo was amazingly helpful. They sorted transport for us on the days we couldn’t hike and helped us every step of the way. It was also fun to connect with others who were on the same itinerary with us. It felt like we had a group even though we were on the self guided tour. I can’t say enough good things about the Zbulo team and our trip!

The outstanding organisation throughout the entire trip definitely stood out. We especially enjoyed staying in the guesthouses, which felt very authentic, and the hosts were always incredibly welcoming. The food was amazing, and we were pleasantly surprised by the wide variety of vegetarian options available, which we absolutely loved.

Our guides, Nedhi and Marin, organised everything perfectly. Even when they had to repeat information several times to make sure everyone had heard and understood it, they never lost patience. We also felt very fortunate to be able to ask them so many questions about the region, its culture, and local life, and they were always happy to share their knowledge with us.
Thank you so much for everything. We will definitely recommend Zbulo to our friends and family, and we very much hope to come back ourselves one day.

BORDER CROSSING PERMITS
As you are planning to take on the cross border trails of the Peaks of the Balkans, the High Scardus or the Via Dinarica, you have surely come across the need for border crossing permits. These permits are part of a special application system used by hikers and cyclists who wish to cross the “green borders” between Albania, Kosovo, Montenegro or North Macedonia. Even if you don’t book a trip with us and prefer to explore these trails independently, we can assist you with obtaining your permits.
